Today is the 41st birth anniversary of Rachel Reeves, a British economist and Labour Party politician. Rachel was the Shadow Secretary of State for Work and Pensions from 2013, but following Jeremy Corbyn's election as leader in 2015, she didn't return to the Shadow Cabinet after her maternity leave. On 12 July, 2017, she was elected chair of the Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy Committee.
